Of Malaysia's UNESCO World Heritage Site & 4095.2 meters above sea level!

My dream to conquer the 4th highest peak in South East Asia finally came true last July 2010. Mount Kinabalu, located in Sabah stood at 4095.2 meters above sea level & is also a UNESCO WHS of Malaysia (Under Kinabalu Park).
Training started 8 months before the real climb - jogging, dumbbell exercise, stairs climbing. The journey was tough....but the experience was...PRICELESS!

The majestic Mount Kinabalu (view from Kundasang)
Ascend - Mesilau trail (9.00am); Descend - Timpohon trail
Arrived at Laban Rata Resthouse at 4.12pm (photo taken at about 6pm+, after dinner & bath)
Low's Peak - the highest peak on Mt Kinabalu @ 6am the next day (journey started @ 2.30am)
Familiar? This is Southern Peak (look behind your behind RM1 note)
Breathtaking view from the Peaks
Wow! Amazed with Nature's creation :)
So steep~~It was really cold up there!

Yours truly (will definitely try this again~)
